• Download Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.zip Double-click the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.zip to unzip or extract the file. Once unzipped, double-click the Trend Micro Diagnostic Toolkit.app to open the file. Click Uninstall to proceed.
• Click Control Panel Add or Remove Programs. Locate Trend Micro Worry-Free Business Security Agent and click Change or Uninstall, whichever is available. Follow the on-screen instructions. If prompted, type the uninstallation password.
• Using the tool, you can save time and uninstall Trend Micro Antivirus on your Mac using its native uninstaller. For this, open the Trend Micro folder in the Applications folder → double-click Uninstall Trend Micro Antivirus.app → confirm the action by clicking on Uninstall.

Solution

Running two antivirus products on the same computer can degrade performance and cause system instability. It is important that any previously installed antivirus software is uninstalled from your system before installing your ESET security product.

Select Trend Micro Agent and click Change/Remove. The Agent Uninstallation screen appears and prompts for the uninstall password, if configured. Follow on-screen instructions. Removing the Agent locally on a Mac: Download Mac Uninstall tool package from the Web Console Administration Tools Uninstaller for Mac.

1. Click the link associated with the antivirus software currently installed on your system and follow the prompts or instructions on the website.
   
2. After uninstallation is complete, you will need to restart your computer. You may then proceed with installing your ESET product.
