Mac: MacOS 10.13. Supported accounts. Microsoft To Do is free when you use your Microsoft account, which means Microsoft To Do is available to all Microsoft 365 Family and Personal customers. Both free and Microsoft 365-subscribed Microsoft accounts rely on Exchange Online servers, so the technical requirements detailed below are met by default. Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac is a version of the Microsoft Officeproductivity suite for Mac OS X. It supersedes Office 2004 for Mac (which did not have Intel native code) and is the Mac OS X equivalent of Office 2007. Office 2008 was developed by Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit and released on January 15, 2008. Collaborate for free with online versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote. MAIN (SERVER) COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS

BEST PRACTICE: ChiroTouch recommends having a dedicated standalone computer as the Server. Laptop, MAC and All-In-One computers are not acceptable for use as the Server computer.

Clinics with 1 to 7 ChiroTouch workstations:

• Operating System:
  • Microsoft Windows 8.1 or newer
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or newer
• CPU: Any CPU (two or more cores) with a benchmark score of 3000 or greater according to https://cpubenchmark.net
  • Some Examples:

• Microsoft SQL Server^TM: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Express Edition or Standard Edition or newer

IMPORTANT: All workstations and workstation users must be able to access a shared directory on the server computer.

Microsoft Windows

Installing Microsoft Updates

Your system must have the latest Microsoft updates installed, including the latest version of Microsoft .NET framework and PowerShell.

Microsoft Office Integration

Microsoft Word and Excel are required for opening, exporting, and printing forms and reports. At the minimum, either Office 2013 or Office 365 versions are required. If using Office 365 at a workstation, it must be installed locally on the computer.

IMPORTANT: You must have a 32-bit version of Office, licensed for commercial use.

iPad Apps

ChiroTouch iPad apps are compatible with Apple iPad 5th generation and later models. Mobile operating systems other than iOS are not supported at this time.

IMPORTANT: For remote access of the ChiroTouch Apps, a static Public IP and a static Private IP address are required.

INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES

Document printers, document scanners, signature pads, voice dictation systems, barcode scanners, card readers, and keypads are compatible with ChiroTouch. See below for details.

Printers and Document Scanners

Fujitsu^TM ScanSnap ix500 and ix1500 are the only supported document scanners.

TWAIN compliant USB connected printers and document scanners may be compatible with ChiroTouch; however, they are not supported.

Signature Pads

Signature Pad models ePad and ePad II are supported. Download the latest drivers from www.epadlink.com.

Voice Dictation System

Dragon™ Medical Practice Edition dictation software is compatible with ChiroTouch for use in the Provider and Provider-All-In-One applications (Will not work with ChiroTouch Mobile edition software.)

Note that Dragon™ Medical Practice Edition is the only Dragon product that will integrate with ChiroTouch. This is a limitation imposed by Dragon's parent company, Nuance. Nuance requires the use of Dragon™ Medical Practice Edition in order to sync with any EMR/EHR solution.

Microsoft Office Mac 2008 Price

Microsoft stopped releasing security patches and updates for Microsoft Windows 7, Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2. Therefore, ChiroTouch no longer supports these operating systems and SQL Server applications. See our Windows Upgrade Help Guide for further information.

Software and Technologies Not Supported

ChiroTouch does not support the following:

• 32-bit operating systems
• Windows Small Business Server
• 4K monitors
• Network printers and scanners
• Biometric fingerprint scanners (as of 7/1/2019)
• Virtual Private Network connections (see section below)
• Terminal workstations (see section below)
• SSDs for Microsoft SQL database*
• RAID 5
• Laptops and All-In-One Computers used as the Server

* Using SSDs for Microsoft SQL databases requires a specialized configuration. Please consult Microsoft and your IT professional for proper setup of SSDs for Microsoft SQL databases.

Regarding Terminal Workstations and Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

ChiroTouch does not provide technical support for terminal workstations or VPN. However, ChiroTouch recognizes that these are useful tools in many business environments. To learn about remote-access options, see Tips for Working Remotely.

Note to Mac Users

ChiroTouch does not support OSX. ChiroTouch can be run on an Apple Mac computer using Parallels Desktop for Mac or Boot Camp on a workstation at your own risk. However, this environment is not supported. If a Mac is used, a valid license for both Parallels and Microsoft Windows is required.

IMPORTANT: The main computer/server cannot be a Mac, nor is this configuration supported under any circumstance.

Software Incompatibilities

Microsoft Office 2008 Mac System Requirements 2013

ChiroTouch is not compatible with any software using the default SQL instance MSSQLSERVER or instances using port 1433.

ChiroTouch is not compatible with all software applications. For example, it is known that ChiroTouch cannot be installed on a computer that contains any of the following products:

* The on-premesis version of ACOM software is incompatible, but the hosted (Cloud) version does not create any problems with ChiroTouch.
